Carrots For Sex Man Pleads Guilty
Singh To Serve 20 Days In Jail
POSTED: 11:11 a.m. PDT April 30, 2002
UPDATED: 11:16 a.m. PDT April 30, 2002
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -- A 55-year-old man has pleaded guilty to misdemeanor sexual battery charges after a woman claimed that he offered her carrots and money for sex, then touched her inappropriately.
Labh Singh will serve 20 days in jail and be on probation for the next three years. He also is required to register as a sex offender.
Authorities say Singh approached his 22-year-old neighbor with the offer last week while she was unloading groceries.

Are we sure they didn't misspell carats? Diamonds are a girl's best friend...
To: chance33_98
then touched her inappropriately.I wander what that means? did he just pat her on the butt, Or grab her? He must have been convicted or plead guilty of a felony to have to register as a sex offender. I have had women pat me on the butt, but I would never consider that a "sex offense", just alittle rude, and even then, only if I did not enjoy it at the time...

"As in Diamonds?"
Carets...right...the guy heard on TV that 'carets' were important and simply misidentified.
Touching, really. He thought he was the Big Mover, and was saddened by the fiendish nature of English spelling, and unneighbourly women. ;^)

I think the reporter meant CARATS.

Question...if a woman did the very same to a man would she have to register as a sex offender?

That would be 'carats'. D'oh!
To: chance33_98
Why is this guy a sex offender? She is of age and where is her proof he touched her?
