Per KVI talk-show host Kirby Wilbur's urging, I attended the pro-Israel rally Tuesday (4/30). Looked through two area newspapers but saw no mention of this rally. It is almost as if it didn't even occur.
The link shows a few photos to the contrary. (Taken with a really cheap digital camera, so the quality is so-so.)

It's not the first time I've seen the press (or other news media, for that matter, whatever they did with this) spike a politically incorrect story.

In New York just yesterday, a girl scout was forbidden to wear her uniform to the Israel Day Parade. This was to go towards a badge for community service, with the girls encouraged to march in a parade.
The G.S. council didn't take into account our morning show host on WABC, Curtis Sliwa who gave out the phone number and email address of the lady in charge........HAH....the girl will be marching IN HER GIRL SCOUT UNIFORM.

There was an Israel Independence Day festival attended by upwards of 60,000 in Van Nuys on April 21. The Los Angeles Times didn't carry that story, either. Though they've been trying to apologize ever since, with their circulation slipping...slipping....

You're right, I can't find a mention at the:
Seattle TimesSeattle PIKing 5Course you can't find any good articles in the local papers anyway -- 80% of it are AP stories the other some local crime action.

Course you can't find any good articles in the local papers anyway Agreed. At work we frequently have visitors from around the country (and the world) for 1- and 2-week-long training classes. I occasionally hear from them about what a joke the local papers are. (But then some of the rest bring in their hotel-freebie USA Today, so at least I get a reminder that it could be worse...)
