The Constitution under assault by the Democratic Party! They must be defeated this coming November. Republicans must retake the Senate and retain the House of Representatives or our liberty will be lost.

Notice that Hillary Clinton is involved in this Act? We should not be surprised, I suppose.

You might be interested to know that this sort of stealth disregard for the public's right to participate is not unique to the US Congress. Late last Friday afternoon the Democrats who control the Colorado State Senate pulled a similar trick by calling an "emergency" committee hearing on 15 minutes notice and then hearing a controversial property rights bill and amending it to make it toothless. All this was done in true "railroading" style to gut a bill that had strong public support.

Fortunately, there are heroes here in Colorado too. Senators Andrews, Teck, Anderson, and McElhany (all Republicans) forced the issue on the Senate floor today and, with Gov. Owens personal lobbying, managed to reverse the underhanded actions of the DEMS and get the bill reinstated in its original form, which was then passed by the full Senate!

It was a glorious day for property rights in Colorado, and landowners have the Republicans to thank for it!!

Thanks so much for this post! This is how we will all lose our homes and properties we hold so dear! This is part of the plan to make us all "equal" meaning no one but the government owns anything or manages it! Can we say socialism?

Great and wonderful! I bet you had a hand in this! "You got to stand for something or you will fall for anything"...Aaron Tipton sang that! LOL What else needs to be said! Thank your reps for me!

Yes, several of us up here in Boulder County played a part, and we owe much to some reps with some guts! We will definitely tell them thanks. Not surprisingly, the worst enemies of protecting property rights were the senator (Tupa) and the Rep (Plant) from Boulder (both DEMS)! They think it is fine for County government to steal people's property rights "for the good of the community".

Thanks for the good words.

For those that see no difference between Dems and Reps. Too bad there are winnies like Specter that really need to be weeded out. No Republican could support vrap like this and he needs to hear it.

Why is this a dangerous bill? The article says it's terrible but doesn't come straight out and explain the contents of the bill. It seems the author has falsely presumed that all readers are fully informed about the specifics of this bill, and, as such, are in complete aggreement against the bill.

Details are useful. Inflammatory rhetoric is a turn-off.

If you'll note, the article is part of a post found on the LandRightsNetwork site. Readers of the site are generally informed about the intentions of Congress with regards to such issues. So of course it presumes that readers are against the legislation. The site is for people who are likely going to be against it.
