Dubya on Rushmore was from FR before they upgraded. I don't know how far back the archives go but it was DURING THE RECOUNTS. It probably originated somewhere else but I only have it here somewhere printed with my Canon printer. Maybe registered or joe brower remembers it.

Nope, haven't seen that one. I'd like to, though.

We can only hope that life will be better without the dem duo of tommy and timmy. I may appear a little negative, but life is not appearing to get any better as time passes regardless of who the elected officials are. There is way too much "stuff" going on that has nothing to do with the Constitution of the United States of America, and everything to do with cementing your power in Washington, through the "bring home the bacon" state welfare project brought to you by senators and representatives of whatever party, in an ongoing attempt at outdoing the other, while ignoring the fact that they are guilty of theft by deception as they continue to extract their ill botton gooty from the fleeceable american public. One can only wonder how congress is going to be brought under control, after 3 or 4 generations of the american public have been literally brainwashed to accept this as the right thing to do.

I will be donating to Congressman Thune's campaign, and hopefully speaking with him this Sunday evening at an ice cream social.

I totally agree with what you said. That is why, barring some miracle, this country does not have a chance of continuing to exist for the exact reasons you stated. Unfortunately, the founding fathers, for all the foresight and wisdom they had, did not forsee the day in which money, desire for power, and unbridled selfishness would overwhelm the character of those elected to office. And, of course, the selfish interests of those in the electorate who want instead of work. Far too many people in this country expect something for nothing--health care, retirement, education, food, and so forth. And this is why the socialistic behavior of elected officials, whether D or R, is prevailing.

The ONLY solution for the quandry we are in--apart from true spiritual revival and the lessening of the value of self--is to limit the amount of money government has to spend. This is why I will NEVER vote for a tax increase, regardless of the worthiness of the cause. The less money government has, the less money it has to waste and the more they will actually have to prioritize. If the Feds had only $2 billion to spend instead of $2 trillion, there would be major fights about how to spend it because it would be a commodity. As it is, they spend first and ask questions later. Individually, I have respect for many people in Congress, but collectively, they are an idiot.

If you have opportunity and desire, please ask Mr. Thune what he thinks the average Federal tax burden for every man, woman, and child in the U.S. should be. I would be interested in heaing what he says.

We are in complete agreement! Remaining comments are self censored so as not to appear so far right that part of me hangs out over the political abyss.

I did not make it to the icecream social, due to severe fatigue, and did not make it to todays republican fund raiser due to too much work. Sad state of affairs, but...

"Flew the 707 for many years."

Great! Another satisfied customer, I presume. For whom were you flying? I am an in-flight-entertainment system equipment engineer, and my group works with Matsushita, the company that has the lion's share of the IFE. I work in Everett on the 747, 767, and 777. Probably just a bit more advanced than the 707, eh? I would guess my dad worked on the 707 sometime during his 35-year career as a production worker/supervisor.

God speed, and let's hope liberalism dies a soon, sudden, and timely death.
