I am assuming the truck was stolen. I had two cars stolen when I lived in Queens, NY. I know how you feel. What they do is, they bring a flatbed truck and they take it away and sell it for parts. Anyone who walks by at the time usually thinks its just the police department towing your vehicle for illegal parking. I would suggest if you have insurance you just call them and tell them your truck is stolen and then go from there.

That is a GREAT idea!! I like this idea. Gore_War_Vet, consider doing that. It more or less *was* stolen, even if by the DC towing operators.
