How Foxman does fascinate. Does bring to ironic fulfillment the phrase "self hating Jew." I remember well when the ADL was sifting through the writings of evangelicals, in hot pursuit of that gotcha "code language" whereby he could tar the rightward Christian with antisemitism.

Now those same religious rightward are about all that's standing between Israel and another genocide. Oh, well. Christians will try to help Jews no matter what treatment we receive in return.

Conservative Jewish commentator mentioned the plane trip that some of his family were taking
from the USA to Israel recently. IIRC, this was maybe his sister and brother-in-law;
the flight within the last couple of weeks.

To the amazement of his family members, they found that aside from the crew, they were
probably the only Jews on the plane.
It was full of conservative Christians from Oklahoma and Texas taking Holy Land tours,
even in these perilous times, partly to support the state of Israel.

(OK cynics...they probably did get a good deal for travel given the tough times
in the region...)
