Well, how many "superior" products do you know that cannot compete in a free marketplace?
Microsoft dominates because the public loves it, and has voted with it's pocketbook.
Anyhow, that aside, what would it take to convince you? That he gives money to Planned Parenthood?
Or that he contributed to a group that (successfully) opposed a tax rollback?
Or that he gave money to a group that tried to register all gun owners in Washington state?

I come from a family that is mostly Democrat and supports a lot of things I disagree with.
Perhaps I should turn my back on them, and boycott my 81 year old mother.
In any case, I don't buy Microsoft products for political reasons..I buy them because I think they are the best.
He's more like the tech world's version of Bill Clinton. Dishonest, liberal and creepy.
If the marketplace really were free, you would have a point. If you had been paying casual attention to the MS anti-trust trials, you would know that the marketplace is in no way free, but illegally controlled by Microsoft.
