I'll continue with my Wintel machine for now, but will seriously consider the move to the dark side (Apple) when it is time for this one to be replaced... unless Linux gets a bigger share of the HOME PC market in a hurry.

I had an OS/2 desktop and a Win laptop. Loved the OS/2, hated the Win. So, when the OS/2 conked out, I bought an iMac.
If I wanted to build my own, I would choose OS/2 or Linux. But if I want to "plug and play", I'm sticking with the Mac. Win just gets more annoying.

Wouldn't it be nice if we could just call the computer shop and ask for a machine with the OS we wanted??
