Due to the competition from direct tv, the cable company here did an impressive upgrade...

doubled the channels---finally got Fox---history channel---court tv too!

W/O competition---especially the FR--net...we would be in the black out ages!

Hopefully reno-clinton will be the highwater mark of filthy media sewage flooding and their curds-whey will stay in the treatment--toxic plant where they belong.

There are a few toilets still backing up---state religionists--evolutionaries even on the FR.

Keep my plunger handy!

You are right that without Free Republic, living in American could be like living in the dark ages when it comes to knowing reality versus the propaganda lefty spin posing as news.

You posted this and it is hopefully true re what is happening to the high water mark of filthy media sewage flooding:

Hopefully reno-clinton will be the highwater mark of filthy media sewage flooding and their curds-whey will stay in the treatment--toxic plant where they belong.

Just go to Drudge today and see how the pressitutes and major mediots are going broke. Hopefully you are right and very astute that the filthy high water mark happened during the Clintoon years and started to drop when GW was sworn in.

I don't think that the CNN that we all know and hate so much will be around by 2004. If there still is a CNN, it will be like the Bloomberg Channel with a bunch of readers and minimal advertisers. AOL/TIME Warner is bleeding to death, and it is a matter of time before the long knife bean counters at AOL slice and dice CNN.
