Gary Aldrich MEGA-PING!

A question for OU officials: How many students were shot last year with inoperable Civil War relics? How many female students were mugged, battered, robbed, or raped? How many of those innocent victims were allowed, or even encouraged to defend themselves? These school administrators are living in a pre 9-11 world where passivity and non-violence are the answer to everything. Aldrich bump.

Somebody needs to tell Gary that it was Willie Sutton who robbed banks, not Willie Horton.

Thank you John.

Neither she or the other people shot were students either. She in fact was a runaway from Florida and sometime prostitute that wandered into the anti-war movement.
The guard was not trained in riot control and the so-called students were throwing rocks at the guardsmen.
That is what started the ball rolling at Kent State. This article reprints a bunch of SDS propaganda.

i too, remember reading that the girl was not a student, but a runaway.

Going after the football team's cannon is a brilliant move. How lucky that such a thing exists. It's a sad commentary on the state of "higher education" in this country, but messing with football traditions will rouse the student body to action like nothing else.
Since the administrators don't stand a chance of firing (without a court reversing) a professor for displaying an inoperable Civil War rifle, while a fully functional cannon is regularly used on campus, they'll either have to drop the matter quickly or face the wrath of mobs of football-crazed students. An added bonus is that this will cement an opposition to idiotic zero-tolerance-for-weapons rules in the minds of all these impressionable youngsters.

Read carefully and think...

The irrationality of the left is downright astonishing. No antique gun on the wall, but the abortion clinic is over at the student health center. Go figure....

Wasn't that photographed "student" about 14 years old at the time?
With this and the "Willie Horton" gaffe, I think Aldrich needs a better editor.
To: JohnHuang2
But, if they are really concerned about violence... They aren't, of course. They are concerned about symbology, political power, and stifling and demonizing of dissent. This, in the name of "academic freedom."

Great article, Gary Aldrich!!!
Thanks for the heads up, JohnHuang2!

The closest to the old Soviet Union remaining is the modern American University campus!
Don't expect reasoning and common sense from those running these places (nor a lot of the current inmates), much less a fair hearing. It they could get away with it, they would set up "re-education centers" and crematoriums for those they dislike or who disagree with them.
