I never watch television at all. I rely on selfless freepers to tell me about the latest atrocities.

Never have, never will.
But if you're taking a survey we're watching "The Jeff Corwin Experience" on Animal Planet.

He's just melodramatic! Fancies himself as a bit of a comedian I think.

what is the West Wing?

I have never watched this show and I never will watch it. In fact, when I DO watch television I never, EVER watch the Big Three networks (I will occasionally watch something on Fox).
This isn't a political statement, just an indication that television of today bores me absolutely silly. I haven't watched a Big Three television show in years (and even the last time I did I suspect it was actually a "residual" of something like "Frasier" that was actually being shown on a local independent station.
Lastly, you may recall that when Pres. Bush XLI was in lame duck mode with the infamous XLII set to assume the Presidency, people continually asked Rush Limbaugh if he was going to shut down EIB, since "you won't have anything to talk about with Democrats in office."
(Of course they also, ironically, asked him the same thing when Bush XLIII was on his way in).
Rather than picking on Bush, I think they ought to ask NBC when they're going to pull the plug on "West Wing" which by all accounts is simply a Leftist fantasyland for those Liberals who are pining for the days when they were in charge.

Croc Hunter is fun to watch.
Junkyard Wars is on TLC now. It's also a fun show.

I tried to watch it once, but I just couldn't stand it... too nauseatingly liberal!
