That would seem to be outside your specialty, which would include: Bunions, Corns, Callouses, Hammer toes, Warts, Athlete's foot, Toenail fungus, Diabetic ulcers, Flat feet, Peripheral neuropathy, Ingrown toenails, Heel pain, Club foot, Foot & ankle fractures, Puncture wounds, Varicose veins, Swollen ankles, Cold or numb feet, Foot odor, Fallen arches, Tired feet, Sports injuries, etc.

As opposed to your specialty which would be...????? I'm quite sure your chosen profession makes you exceedingly more qualified to speak authoritatively on this matter, right?

Design engineer -- hence familiar with logic and statistical analysis -- but do read the peer reviewed papers. We bandy opinions here. The good stuff is peer reviewed for a reason.
