I'm with you. Sure, I use the canned stuff, but I make sure to replace it when I use it. I now have EVEN MORE stored food than I did then. In fact, after a couple of days of total shock after 9/11, the first thing I did was stock up on MORE supplies and gas for the generators.

It's my belief that what is happening RIGHT NOW is Y2K, or at least the beginning of it. The ridiculous thing I DIDN'T buy back then was one of the many large generators people were selling. Wish I had. My two are kind of small.

I agree with you. The only reason I am getting rid of stuff rather than stockpiling is that I plan to move as soon as we can sell our house and buy a new one. I'm very nervous that the next terrorist attack will happen while we do not have a place to go. Oh well, it certainly won't keep me from moving!
