I laid up a big supply of chocolate, but I ate it all. Urp. Sorry.
I got 10 gallons of water for Y2K. But then I had a 10,000 gallon pool to draw from. Other than that I was not worried. It was great for the computer industry.

I just wanted to bring this thread back to life. I remember getting so sick of the Y2K nuts on FR that I couldn't stand to come here for a long time. Most of them went mildly insane at the very idea that civilization was not going to end on 1/1/2000.
I don't know where they all went to. Some I am sure are still here. Some have different names that do not have "Y2K" as part of their screen name. Some I am sure have wacked out somewhere else in this great land of ours. I like to think a small handful are still hiding in underground bunkers wondering how much longer their rations of dehydrated beans will hold out before they have to come back above ground.
I guess the main reason I am resuscitating this thread is so that now, 4 plus years down the line I can say, "I TOLD YOU SO!" :)
