Governor Bush Signs Bills Helping Florida Homeowners
Gov. Jeb Bush at an AARP meeting for seniors.
(BTW, GW won FL's senior demographic in Nov. 2000.)
On Thursday, Governor Bush signed Senate Bill 2014 into law, which will help Florida's low-income elder homeowners. This bill will make it easier for Floridians who are 65 or older file for the additional property tax homestead exemption by eliminating some of the burdensome paperwork. It also eliminates the fee to file for this exemption.

Gov. Bush with patriotic Americans.
In addition, Governor Bush signed Senate Bill 148 into law, which guarantees homeowners' right to fly the American flag in front of their homes. This new law addresses arbitrary homeowners' association rules that prevent homeowners from respectfully flying the United States flag.
The Board took away my right to maintain ANY contact with the board or property manager by purposely tying up approval of my windows for six months.
They continue to violate basic Florida condo laws and I will continue to dog them to change their ways. Now the PM is playing games when people write for copies of the Minutes. I just cannot tolerate a deceptive property manager and I want her to be removed. Wish me luck, freepers. I win my battles but they take awhile. God Bless America and God Bless Florida. Thanks go to my Marine/Army Major/Property Manager Attorney who poured through lots of my paperwork before writing a compelling letter to the dastardly condo directors.
The governor just vetoed the increase on local phone rates.
Sometimes ya just gotta love election years.
