Nice people, nasty wildlife. That weird 1963 film "Mondo Cane" showed some not nice Pacific fishermen wreaking revenge on sharks. They would hook a shark, drop a living sea urchin into its gut, and then release it. Supposedly the shark had a long painful death.
PETA would not approve.
