Galveston is a very racially and ethnically mixed island. We are an old Southern port and we love it just because it is so mixed and friendly. So to run on an anti-beach party campaign just gives everybody a headache.

If you're into this enough to do some serious research, buy some access to the stacks at the Atlanta Journal and Constitution and read up. Like I said earlier, the City of Atlanta (a fairly small area, actually, and only 1/8 or 1/10 of the metro area population) has been black-run for 20 years, and they ran Freaknik out of town.
