All the Lefties voted against each other, and a far-rightie is up against Chirac for the whole enchilada.
That's great news. No socialist in the runoff for the first time in a zillion years. Now, if the conservatives can keep those wacko parties from forming a leftist coalition in Parliament, maybe France can even avoid having a leftist Prime Minister.
One can hope!
A valid question might be: How long before we send the 6th Army again into France? Seems as though the gene pool is a bit dodgy over there as well as in the Middle East...
