George Stephanopoulos' big tryout was this past Sunday.

And by all accounts, it went just fine.

Of course, the people doing the accounting had a vested interest in it going well, since they acknowledge ABC's troubled This Week needs fixing.

A textbook example of liberal bias that should be used in Journalism schools across the country for years to come. One minor mistake, Peter Johnson neglected to point out that Tony Snow is a conservative.

Other than that one mistake, the author did a wonderful job of labeling George Will and Bill Kristol as conservatives, while failing to identify Tim Russert, Cookie Roberts, Bob Schiefer, Leslie Stahl, Sam Donaldson, Wolf Blitzer or even Stephenopolous as liberals.

The libs think they're the norm. They'll never tag themselves as liberals under the above rhetoric. They are hopelessly lost. (sigh......)

Excellent point in identifying the bias.

The show, however, will bomb. Stephenopolous isn't perceived as a journalist. He's a pundit. He's probably no more liberal than Sam Donaldson, but he carries the baggage of the Clinton Administration.

The second one sees Stephenopolous' face, Clinton partisan immediately pops into the mind. I agree. He would be fine as a pundit in a round table with a conservative. But a host? Disney has to be kidding!

By the way, I emailed him saying he was biased. I also added that I did not consider Kristol a conservative. He replied saying that he plead guilty, but that he would argue that Kristol is a conservative.
