Lucky dog! I have to wait ten more years. 55 now. The very FIRST year of the 'baby boom' generation. Hmmmm, maybe that's why I was born about 9 months and 15 minutes after my Dad returned from the war. Heh Heh.
I've brought my kids up to know that SS is a Ponzi Scheme, and that the only part of SS they might EVER collect is that part of any new legislation that allows them to salt money away in their OWN accounts.

Doesn't matter because they will just tax your SS check so high that the NET column only needs room for 2 digits.

That's one reason Why I haven't gotten one of those Roth IRAs. They say you pay the tax now and when you take out the money 30 years from now it's tax free. Yea right!

Like they would never change that law if they needed the cash. Or better yet they will get rid of the income tax and replace it with a national sales tax so you get taxed now and then.
