Cert is a great organization for distributing info about computer attacks and whatnot. I've been on the CERT mailing list for about 6 or so years. CIAC (
ciac.llnl.gov) is probably a bit more timely, but CERT has good information available.
If you are involved at all in computer security, especially in multiuser environments, you should be on their lists.
