I admire your love for human life, and I agree that human life is God's greatest achievement in the orders of creation. I do disagree with you on other points, and I take issue with you for dismissing my view as silly.

Interesting, but they are the ones in charge of their destiny, not the Israelis. All they have to do to end their "imprisonment" is to surrender. If they are worried about their treatment during surrender all they have to do is invite the Americans and the clergy to be in attendence. They will have to go before a court though.
Food, water, and medical help are all within their reach, once they decide to reach for it.
All they have to do is surrender. The Israelis are only interested in those who have committed crimes against humanity.
I have great respect for the priests and the nuns who have remained inside the church, but again, it is their choice (or at least that is what we are being told.)
