how do the strict constuctionist civil libertarians square U.S. financial aid to Israel and the "separation of church and state"?

Neither one of you seems to understand that

1) Israel is a secular state
2) Foreign aid has nothing to do with "establishment of religion" by Congress.

Shall we send no foreign aid or other assistance to countries in Latin America that are predominantly Catholic? How about all the foreign aid (billions) we've poured into "Palestine?" Isn't that a violation of your (non-existant) "separation clause?"

Don't even mention American Armed Forces protecting Saudi Arabia, which in no way shape or form can be considered even remotely secular. In fact these same American forces have to conform their religious beliefs to something that won't "offend" these Saudis.
