| A television still from undated video footage released by Al-Jazeera TV on April 15, 2002, shows Osama bin Laden(R), chief suspect in September 11's attacks on the United States. The video reportedly shows bin Laden with an unidentified aid who praised the September 11 attacks as a "great victory". An official at Jazeera declined to say how they obtained the tape, but said the footage was taken post-September 11. Photo by Al-Jazeera/Reuters |

I'd like to see the words in the video - might explain why Al-Jazeera decided on its own not to release it earlier.

The picture is a fake. The 2 men are superimposed over the background.

It a setup by the Mossad!

Heard someone on Fox say that Bin Laden doesn't speak in the video.
His arms are in a very strange position, and he looks drugged, IMO.
To: Oldeconomybuyer
Bin Laden does not look particularly happy or defiant in this picture. Also note he appears to be favoring his left arm. As for the background, hard to tell for sure but it may very well be a superimpose job.

I wonder if this video contains instructions for further attacks. There is a lot of buzz on other threads about the possibility of something going down Tuesday in Israel.

Look at the photo again what is missing???.....if that was taken outside .....you would see a....... Shadow!

What if it was cloudy out? No sun no shadow.
To: Bryan24
If this is indeed a still from a video, could the background be faked during a film of, say, several minutes?

Also note he appears to be favoring his left arm. Maybe he's supporting himself to sit up straight. I read he has kidney problems and requires dialysis - which he might not be getting.

Yes I am. Looking outside right now. Not really any shadows anywhere. It is cloudy out.

Expert examination, especially of the reflection in the eyeglasses of the gent on the left, will determine if it is film superimposed on another image.
In favor of its being a fake is the color of bin Laden's beard. In the videos of last fall and winter, his beard was increasingly white/gray. Or he is using "Arabic Formula 5."
If it is genuine, then this film confirms my suspicion that he and his leadership were able to get to another country, probably Iran, by early November 2001. I never believed that he was in the cave complexes of eastern Afghanistan.

Apparently Osama bin Laden has been holed up in a Sears photo studio.

A videotape showing terror warlord Osama bin Laden has been screened on Al Jazeera TV. The Qatar-based satellite channel said it had received the tape several days ago - but refused to say how it got hold of it. |
The footage shows bin Laden sitting on the ground with one of his key aides.
