Bury the maggots in graves with pigs..like General Pershing did in the Phillipines. That quieted things down then...it might help now.

Don't blame u at all. Springtime in Afghanistan -An article i read recently about an upcoming US campaign, maybe this one, said our troops were motivated by educating them about talib/qaeda atrocities against the shia hazaras. Especially when our boys know that there's no chance they're ever going to end up as 'detainees' in the hands of the enemy. We know what they do.
