Good chance your dream could come true... There are B17s that "fly in" to the Oshkosh (WI) EAA Air Show every summer... and some that take tours. The EAA, I'm sure, has a website.. and lots more information. One of the biggest airshows in the COUNTRY. At the EAA, you'll see about everything that flew during WWII, including "FiFi", the only B29 still flying... lotsa warbirds.... of every size and shape. Good luck.... and Thanks.

We have one that flies into the Hillsboro Air Show every year.
Just can't convince the wife that it's worth the $300 price for a ride, I always have to settle for the $10 walkthrough.

The Confederate Air Force (recently changed their name to
Commemorative Air Force) flies the B-17 "Sentimental Journey" around the country to air shows and they routinely 'give' the public a chance to fly in her. "Sentimental Journey" is maintained by the
Arizona Wing of the CAF.
