When I was in college (which was about when YOU were in college -- I guess we were both prodigies!), I almost got in a fistfight with a housemate, when I said, "I think the Palestinians ought to have a state of their own." The housemate had, I believe, been a member of Kahane's JDL. Who'da thunk it, that today I'd be on the same side of the fence with such meschugganahs? But back then, I didn't know that the only peace Arafat believes in, is the peace of the graveyard.
