I live in CA and called PG&E the other day. When they put me on hold they played Mexican music for me. I was floored. I guess that's who mainly calls them.

My PGE meter reader was chattering away in espanol on her cell phone as she darted around the side of my house the other day.

My personal favorite is the taped voice on the phone immediately instructing me what to do in Spanish. Although I believe everything should be in English, I do feel sorry for all the Southeast Asians, Russians, etc, who come here. There are forced (and do!)to learn English and assimilate just to survive. It's very unfair that one group is singled out for special treatment.
