NBC Today Show Transcript VIA Star Magazine ^ | April 9, 2002 | Matt Lauer and Katie's Colon

Frequent talk show guest Rusty Yates was also in the (Today Show) studio, eagerly awaiting an interview just days after his wife was Andrea was convicted of murder in the drowning deaths of their five children.

Sources say Rusty Yates, a fan of the singer was hoping to get an autograph. But Ozzy had a different idea.

'Ill burn his eyes out with a poker,' roared Osborne. 'He's profiting directly from the demise of his own children and that, to me, is all wrong. I couldn't stand in the same room with the guy. I'd throw up!'

I'm sick and tired of hearing Andrea's husband blamed for her actions. She alone is responsible for her actions.

TRUE!!!

I want The Osbourne's to be on every week forever.

Don't worry. It will be.

Oh, the irony! If Andrea Yates had married Ozzy Osbourne, her children would probably still be alive. Of course, there would be dog poop all over the house!

I have been to Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne concerts and nowhere did I ever hear devil worshipping being promoted. In fact to the contrary. I recall Ozzy himself saying once that he was appalled by the bands who tried to copy them and actually took the dark side seriously when in fact the opposite was implied. Considered them whacked out.

Interesting to watch live videos of many of the 70's megabands and find hardly an expletive or dark imagery used unlike nowadays. Was watching a Deep Purple Live in Denmark video, where "God Bless You All" is said a few times to the audience by the singer, Ian Gillan!!! Oh well, considering the fact that then unknowns Lloyd-Webber/Rice had him sing as Jesus Christ in "Jesus Christ Superstar".

THat was a great episode...but you missed the point. Ozzy was incredulous that his family wanted to hire a doggie psychiatrist. He kept saying...If you want the dog to crap outside..OPEN THE DOOR! It's such a great show, no matter how rich and famous you are, you're kids NEVER LISTEN TO YOU!

This show is HILARIOUS.

They were showing some of the reruns. The war with the neighbors was classic. I loved it when Sharon called one of them a spoiled rich kid.

The chair was hilarious. "The thing I have to do to make a f'ing living" "Your a millionaire."

Bible thumper who lived in bus is fan of Ozzy...hmmm. Something just isn't quite adding up here.

I'm a "Bible thumper" and I like Ozzy. What's your point?

Interesting point. I remember around 1976, I taped a "King Biscuit Flower Hour" Black Sabbath concert off the radio. Ozzy must have said "God Bless You!" and "We love you" a dozen times to the audience. He ended the concert by saying "Thank you, God bless you, we love you aaaaaaaaalllllllllllllllllllllll!!!!!!!!"

I didn't hear anyone blame him for what she did. He's a jerk. Doesn't mean he is to blame. What crawled up your butt?

I'm sorry you don't know how to read. I don't think Ozzie has a problem with Russell because he cut him off in traffic or shortchanged him at Burger King.

LOL, ok true enough, but I think you might be the one needing the reading lessons. I believe Ozzie has a problem with Russell because he is going around on the talk show circut making money off of his childrens deaths. I don't remember him blaming Russell for the deaths?

To quote: 'Ill burn his eyes out with a poker,' roared Osborne. 'He's profiting directly from the demise of his own children and that, to me, is all wrong. I couldn't stand in the same room with the guy. I'd throw up!'

Incidently this is the same problem I have with Russell. He is a poor excuse for a human being.

Ozzy is hysterical. Glad to see that the man has changed. There is hope afterall.

I wish him all the success in the world. Can anyone confirm if he is, indeed, a born again Christian?

Is that the episode where they were shouting four letter explitives over the wall at the neighbors? And then Sharon invites them over for tea and cakes, but asks them to be mindful of their hours since they attend church a lot? MAN, I was ROFLMAO! Sharon has such sarcastic wit, you gotta love her.

ROFL. Yep. That's it. And then she and I think Jack tossed food over the fence at their yard..The hilarious part was that Ozzy slept through almost all of it, and the time he wasn't, he was playing with the dogs(I wish there wasn't a no dog policy here....)

I thought I cussed like a sailor. I have bloody nothin' on the Osbournes.

I missed the 10:30 episode today. There was some protest about this show on FX called "The Shield"(10-11) because it was 'indecent'....so I watched it. NYPD blue on steriods. More action too. Good show.
