Israel is absolutely right to do this. The Palestinian Authority simply refused to live up to their committments at Oslo to suppress and arrest these militia members. I'm sure if any of you were the Israeli PM you would be doing the same thing... in fact, you would've done it a lot sooner!

Israel should rightly tell the world to pound sand. This mission is essential to allowing the Israeli people to live in peace and without terror.

Never in their dreams did they imagine that Israel would do what it is doing now. The Palestinian leadership thought that the EU and the UN would shelter them from severe reprisals as they continuously attacked civilians, as has been the case in the past. The bombing on Passover in Netanya was the last straw - on a holy day, just as Israel had pulled the troops back to establish a cease fire with Zinni on the ground!

Israel must do this. They should have done it a long time ago. No country can allow their citizens to be attack mercilessly on their own soil without taking severe measures to prevent it -- to do so means you cease to be sovereign! I support the Israel efforts 100%.

You know what I don't understand? People keep talking about Palestinians living in poverty and misery (although they can afford bombs and guns) but when I see news footage of "Palestinian-controlled cities" (usually shot from afar, I grant you, but still) they look like full-fledged cities to me, complete with infrastructure, solid buildings, roads, electricity, water, etc etc etc..... how come we get so few real glimpses into their lives? When I see them on TV, a lot of them are wearing what look like new clothes, they have cars, they have everything anyone else has.... they may not be as well off as Israelis, I don't know, but they look better off than people in China and Africa. But no one ever talks about it.

They were in poverty... till Israel started giving them hope... and Israeli business started to bring prosperity to them... jobs and food and electric and toilets and safe drinking water...

Israel has lifted that poverty off of them. Now they get more money from offering a kid to SATAN with their favorite bundle of ball bearings, dynamite and #8 concrete nails from the local hardware store... and a pound or so of symtek.

As long as they are allowed to kill Jews, Israelis and the hope of a democratic people... they will continue to follow that pursuit. They are not poor... like you said. They just wanna kill Jews... like I said. WE agree again. Scary isn't it.
