The beauty of being a superpower.. Russia use to do whatever it wanted on it's side of the world until they financially collapsed.. Hell Russia doesn't complain half as much as the rest of the world because they had the power and they know damn well if they hadn't collapsed they would be using it too(on a side note they know being on the good side of the US will help them restore themselves to a superpower once again.. eventually taht is.) Everyone with half a brain knows we need to get rid of Saddam.. if we take him on his lease he's going to bring that region into utter chaos. It comes down to damned if we do damned if we don't.. on one side if we do something about him we're gonna lose some soliders.. and not like on Afghanstan's terms.. god forbid iran gets invovled too it could be more on the lines of vietnam if both iraq and iran unlease chemical weapons. The problem here is if we don't take that risk of losing lots of our boys then all were gonna see is Israel being driven into the sea and the fundamentalits getting even more embolded to put in oil embargos and cause more terrorism throughout the world.
