I thought Neville Chamberlain was dead. Perhaps he is one of "The editors" of The Mirror.

Dead or alive, appeasement is as good a policy today as it was in Hitler's time, and this article supports it. I guess some people are too stupid to learn from history -- even press pundits who think a journalism degree makes them smarter than everyone else on the planet.

It will be interesting to see what these puerile hacks have to write when they find themselves facing attacks from Arabs instead of the IRA. Should be good for a few laughs.

Will they roll over like a docile poodle, then?

The Brits thought appeasement was wonderful. Until the United States had to choose between fighting Hitler and appeasing him by letting England sink. Roosevelt waffled and created Lend-Lease.
