Daddy Bill Clinton took his daughter and her beau, the pride of Belvedere Ca., Ian Klaus, around the new Tate Modern Art Gallery in London last week.
Says a conviently placed Londoner to a London paper, 'President Clinton seemed comfortable with Ian and glad that his daughter found a decent man.'
The trio toured the galleries with the rest of the public, but with a security detail of 12
Bubba bought drinks for the young couple.
Chelsea and Ian, who met at a rally of students at Oxford post-9/11, are expected to announce their engagement by June
In case you are wondering, Klaus's parents, the eminent and respectable Robin and Patricia of Belvedere, are both longtime Democrats.

What does dad Webster have to say about it?
To: Howlin
I am bowing to the etiquette decision makers on this one, if this becomes a Liza- style extravaganza we hold nothing back..
What are the odds a Clinton won't ask for a $400,000 bridal registry for this eloping/shotgun wedding/ DNC shakedown cruise
To: Wrigley
I don't see why Chelsea still rates ink in the paper. Does Amy Carter's name ever make the news anymore?

I think Jesse will do the honors, he was so 'there' in a time of need during the Monica crisis with spiritual leadership! (bringing in his mistress in the Oval Office to counsel 'The Toon)

As long as Secret Service is still (!) paying the bill, this ceremony is taxpayer bidness.
To: codebreaker
If Jessie does the honors, will it be legal since, according to SHAKEDOWN, there is no record of his ever getting his Reverend Degree?

LOL! Bad choice of words..I thought Chelsea would 'try out' a few partners first (Madonna, Gwynnie Paltrow)

"...Other Clinton children show up..." Oh,don't get me started. But now that I've read the whole thread,I have questions:
1.)In what State will she choose to get married? In all seriousness, she is w/out a home, isn't she?I mean that's really what she wants is her own HOME right?Arkansas, then White House,Then Stanford,Now Oxford Living.Hmmmm.
2.)Does this young Man have any idea what on earth the "HELL OF In-Law B.S." he is stepping into?Example:EVEN Sean Penn had to Dump Madonna way back when cause he couldn't handle it (The Media) at the time.
3.)Did SHE ask him to marry her? ROTFL
4.)Does anyone know what OCCUPATION HE OR SHE plan on making a living for themselves, once they leave college?
5.)What type of "Conversation" will #42 OR more likely HILLARY have w/ the guy before the wedding?Subtle threats,One-to-One's, you see where I'm going.Anyone like to help me out here?

Al Sharpton may be pressed into service although with his Presidental ambitions I wouldn't see the Queen giving him valuable camera time.
This is all about setting up a forum for the Junior Senator in New York's Presidential ambitions.

Engagement timed perfectly for the election year.
Although I would have thought Chelsea would wait
until the year 2004 so that her mom who might
be contemplating announcing for the Office of President
could play the role of mother of the bride running for
the highest elected office and planning a celebrity wedding,
sharing wedding advice with Oprah. In the meantime, daddy
Bill does best what daddy does and will be assigned the responsibility for the selection of the best
bridesmaids all the while having their illustrious star power names in the news every day.

And yet you continue to state gossip as fact...
You do know the difference, right? Yes .. but it never bothered the Clinton's before .. so why start now

To supply the necessary diversity, I can envision Jessie's "new" daughter as flower girl. Bless her heart.

It's not working, no matter how many times I say it.

1. New house New York with all of our stolen White House artifacts
2.Maybe he's so brain dead after years in the same California school system with Johnny Jihad that he doesn't know.
3.Yes.
4.Public wards of the rich liberal Governmental state i.e. make work public sector jobs
5.'You keep quiet of you'll end up like Buddy the Dog and Vince Foster'
