Daddy Bill Clinton took his daughter and her beau, the pride of Belvedere Ca., Ian Klaus, around the new Tate Modern Art Gallery in London last week.
Says a conviently placed Londoner to a London paper, 'President Clinton seemed comfortable with Ian and glad that his daughter found a decent man.'
The trio toured the galleries with the rest of the public, but with a security detail of 12
Bubba bought drinks for the young couple.
Chelsea and Ian, who met at a rally of students at Oxford post-9/11, are expected to announce their engagement by June
In case you are wondering, Klaus's parents, the eminent and respectable Robin and Patricia of Belvedere, are both longtime Democrats.

Is Oxford a two year program, she surely can't be finished until next year.

No, I do not. You are on the Bush bashing threads all the time. And you're not real happy about the way some of us feel about him.

I wonder how his parents will handle having every single thing in their life exposed for all to see. Maybe they should ask Monica's parents for advice
Hey they can start a support group

You are on the Bush bashing threads all the time. For the benefit of third-parties reading this exchange, I will (once again) deny your baseless claims that I'm a Bush-basher. The only Bush policies I've complained about are CFR and his statement on Klamath Falls - you're the one who has characterized me as a basher. Moreover, I have refrained from characterizing you as a "Bushbot" or any other demeaning term during any of our conversations. I ask that you do the same, as I'm no Bush-basher.
And you're not real happy about the way some of us feel about him.
You're welcome to your opinions, as I believe I am to mine. I don't agree with everything Bush has done (reference my two issues above), and I'm not afraid to say it on this forum or anywhere else. (After all, the purpose of this forum is to discuss politics.) You should feel free to draw your own conclusions based upon your understanding of the facts.

LOL,Im sure your invitaion will be in the mail the same time mine is! How many seats will be set aside for the VRWC?
Another poster said W should begin the Iraq bombing right when x42 is giving the bride(of frankenstein) away! Can you picture it?Pagers going off, cell phones set to vibrate all going off at once,as x42 and Chelsea begin the long march.
I will be scoping FR for any related threads because I enjoy all the snide and pithy comments. The spectre of a solemn x42 and a tearful junior senator from NY will be fodder for this forum for years to come.My prediction after Oxford grudgingly, after arm twisting from x42,graduates chelsea,an exploratory committee will be formed to test the waters for Chuckie Schumers Senate seat. Can you imagine both Clintons in the Senate?

"Pagers going off, cell phones set to vibrate all going off at once,as x42 and Chelsea begin the long march." And then the mad stampede, back down the aisle, to get a face in front of the camera to pontificate on an "unconstitutional" military action. I'm betting Gephardt get's the first live shot! LOL

We can all dream, can't we..the sight of half the room clearing out of the National Cathedral on live worldwide televison as we invade Iraq as Bubba walks his only daughter (that we know of) down the aisle.
Might be better than impeachment...

I'm howling with laughter over tonight's delightful foray into the future possibilities! Has anybody considered that this might be a shotgun wedding? I read that recently Chelsea and Ian had checked in as "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" at a continental hotel (sorry, forgot which one but someone here is bound to know) and stayed in a suite for the entire weekend.

ROTFLOL! My money is on Sharpton or Jesse getting to the cameras first..
