You seem to overlook parts of the article. "Although it is a private organization, its publications and memberships are public." Also, "the commission also invites as many as 10 news editors or reporters to attend the annual meeting."

Seems to me they are not secret or you wouldnt know about them. Their membership is an open secret and is what occured in the meetings as they are covered by the press. The only thing they dont do is invite in rabid, paranoids to disrupt their meetings. Their time is much too valuable to listen to idiots preach to them about how the world really works and how they are either liars or too stupid to know they are dupes.

Do not forget that George Bush Sr. and Bill Clinton were once distinguished members. Once a member of the Trilateral Commission gets executive office, they have to resign their membership, probably because they don't want the publicity.

Is David Rockefeller still alive? He's got to be getting up there in years, I wonder if he still attends the meetings to the organization that he started.

Also, anyone can request the briefs to their meetings, just write them and request the documents, they do not charge. I think they purposely make them impossibly boring so the reader is always discouraged from actually reading the whole brief. That being said, I most certainly agree that just because media members are there, that doesn't mean that they are actually reporting on the event, because they aren't. The last known news magazine articles on the Trilateral Commission that I have found date to the late 1970's and then stop there.
