That's where most of the objection stems; they're not holding elected office. They're appointees. In many cases they're basically Socialists, but intent on using U.S. Money, not their own.

If Cheeney, Rumsfeld, Powell, Greenspan and Volker are socialists than all is lost. Fortunately they are not and those that worry about Trilateralists are incessant worriers.
