I don't know when I have enjoyed a thread debate as much as this one. Keep going, I think Mr. Buckeroo is starting to get more specific, more interesting. I will answer his question about why we are the world's policeman. Because no one else can. I honestly believe that living in the greatest country in the world carries the greatest responsibility. We have been given the most precious gift ever - Freedom. In order to keep it, we must fight for it. We have been called upon to sacrifice much for our freedom. I believe we should answer the call. Thank God for President Bush.

Reading your considered, understandable posts on this thread has been a confirmation of my beliefs. Your use of words express what I wish I could. You have not stooped to emotional insults. You quote facts. Sure I'm a Bush babe on THAT thread; because I appreciate the way in which decisions are being made to protect our republic. On 9-11, it would have been totally ineffective to stand on a New York street corner screaming that my rights under the Constitution were being violated. Thanks, y'all.
