WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Karenna Gore Schiff, the eldest daughter of former vice president Al Gore, hinted Thursday that she might follow in her father's footsteps and seek political office.
"I really love grassroots politics," she said in an interview with CNN. "I care a lot about issues that other people do: environmental protection and health care and education. And it was such a privilege to be able to talk about those things out on the campaign trail in 2000. So I don't know if I'll be a candidate, but it is something that I wouldn't rule out."

Since conceding that race, Gore has given no firm indication that he intends to run again...They still don't get it...

Damn, these 'people' (Gore, Clinton) keep showing up like a bad penny - on the 'tails' side.

What exactly qualifies her as someone who might hold office? She cares? She likes to talk? She is married to a Dr? Her being a mother is probably her greatest strength, assuming her kids are reasonably well behaved. Based on this blurb, I pressume she maintains the extact political perspectives of her father, so she doesn't appear to be an independant thinker. (although being completely controlled and bent into various shapes be the people you represent does have a curious Hollywood like freak show quality) I think not.

I really hope a really large NYC cabbie mows down this really shrill, pampered snot before she really gives politics another thought.

Karenna Gore is a pathetic example of the rich, liberial, elite in the US.I'd like to see just one member of the press ask her about her public school experience. It will never happen of course. You have hit the nail on the head -- just more ruling class elite who believe that they are somehow entitled to positions of power over the uneducated and classless masses. Washington is not just about grabbing power, it is now about forming a concentration of power in families. The Gore's are definitely getting desperate.

She is as vacuous as her mother and father put together. Don't forget she played a major role influencing Gore's brilliant campaign.
