This story reminds me of a pro-Pallie propoganda website shown me by a muslim grad school colleague of mine. The site depicts various gruesome photos, including what it claims are the bodies of palestinians from which the organs have been removed. The site is obviously one-sided, as Israeli bomb victims are ignored. Also, some of it is pure BS. They claim for instance that the well-known photo of the suicide-bomber's head actually shows a head "removed by the Israelis" Other photos are likely real, however, like those of children, and show genuine suffering by Palestinians. (though this does not IMHO justify bombing cafes and hotels!)

However, even though the pictures are gross, the captions are sometimes a hoot. I particularly like the one about the 800 mm machine gun. Now 800 mm is over 31 inches. The largest Naval rifles, (Guns to us landlubbers) were IIRC 18 inches. Even the big train guns used in WW-I an WW-II were no where near 800 mm. A 2000 lb bomb is less than that, by a lot. The only thing that comes to mind that is larger is a daisy cutter, and if something that big hits you in the head, there is no head left at all, and no body either.

The rather spectacular wound attributed the 800 mm bullet was likely inflicted by regular old 7.62X51 (.308) or 7.62X54R rifle/machine gun bullet, or perhaps something from a heavy machine gun, .50 caliber (12.7X99), 12.7x107 or 14.5X114 mm (the latter two used by the bad guys). There are recoiless rifles in the 100mm range, a "dud" from one of those also could conceiveably do the damage shown, but I doubt it.

Why would a Pali site be in english??? Think about it? You gotta hand it to these Pali guys. They are a very VERY organized, oiled and ruthless machine. Hope Israel is taking notes on how to conduct a top notch propaganda campaign. I wonder if James Carville is not working on this one?
