They've been firing mortar rounds across the border.
What kind of 'missles' and their range is an important detail.

Israel says missiles fired at it from Lebanon |

JERUSALEM, April 4 (Reuters) - The Israeli army said on
Thursday missiles had been fired from across the border with
Lebanon at the Mount Hermon area in the Israeli-occupied Golan
Heights.
"We have reports of a few missiles launched from Lebanon at
areas of the Hermon. We don't know of any damage," the army said
in a brief statement.
Israel has accused Lebanese Hizbollah guerrillas of firing
two Katyusha rockets that landed in northern Israel in recent
days and threatened fierce retaliation if the Iranian-backed
group launches another attack.
Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, blaming Iran and Syria for the
attacks, said earlier on Thursday Israel was "ready and prepared
for all actions that we will take as required".

Isreal has tactical nukes.
And to use them in this situation like this would get them the Brainiac award of the year.

I know this might be crazy to say but I am glad they did it. Powell is going over there to try to get Israel to back down and by Hizbolah doing this now the Israelis have an excuse to go after them. They also have an excuse to go after Iran and Syria. I could see the U.S. getting involved in this one. Helping to eliminate the threat of Syria, Iran and Iraq. It keeps getting interesting and I believe we are on the brink of a full scale regional war.

It seems that a Mid-East War might be looming.

It seems inevitable, sooner rather than later.

Israel's not using tactical nukes on Lebanon, don't be stupid. Shebaa itself doesn't have much water, it's a pretty small place. The Golan does, and that's an issue.

"Probably, I got to get off Fox, their foreign coverage sucks." The Fox Morning show is unwatchable. As more and more boomers like myself retire the viewing audience becomes less tolerant of the poor quality that is currently being displayed in the mornings by Fox News. They need a mature, informed, and credible anchor for the morning spot and more reports from reporters on the ground in the areas where the news is happening.

Good question... vote on what Israel
should use?
If you don't want to devalue real estate, maybe some fuel-air or EMP?
Anything in our arsenal we could let Israel play with?
