Lane recovering from stroke:Former Washoe judge's speech, movement effected

Mills Lane remained hospitalized in conscious and stable condition on Tuesday after suffering a stroke, and his doctor said it is unclear whether the former Washoe County judge and internationally known boxing referee would recover fully.

The 64-year-old Lane suffered a stroke caused by the blockage of his left internal carotid artery, Dr. Paul Katz said during a press conference at Saint Mary

A former Marine and REAL judge, wow, I didn't know that about him. I always liked the guy, now I like him even more.
