This reminds me of a scene from the movie "The Fifth Element." Some aliens have hijacked this cruise spaceship and are holding hostages on the ship's bridge. Bruce Willis' character, Corbin Dallas, goes to the bridge and helps the wussie crew kill some of the aliens. One of the crewmen asks Corbin if wants to negotiate for the hostages' release, and he agrees. The crewman yells that they're sending someone in. Corbin walks in with his gun behind his back, pulls it out and fires a single shot into the head of the aliens' leader. He points the gun at the other aliens saying "Does anyone else want to negotiate?" Funny scene, but it says all we should do when we're dealing with terrorists.

What a great and funny piece.

The last paragraph reminds me of something I've seen elsewhere. Palestinians have been far more mistreated by Arabs than Israelis, yet they don't seem to notice. It reminds me of how blacks can go around killing other blacks in huge numbers and not a peep is heard, but a white cop accidentally shoots a black guy and riots start.

What a bizarre mentality. I guess the only theory I can pose is that many in these groups tend to prize racial solidarity far more than they do life. I don't know, it certainly is puzzling though.
