Apparently they have no trust in these leaders and do not realize that they so easily can cause people to mistrust when they rashly use their words to cast aspersions and doubt because he did not jump as high and in the exact direction they felt he should.
We need to remember how he handled the other situations he has been faced with. He carefully researches and thinks out the ramifications before he acts. When he does act, it has been after much consideration and is done in a very effective manner. This is what I want in a president.
I was absolutely positive the policy was idiotic at best. Well, I was wrong. Why? Because those calling the shots were in much better command of what was really happening than I was.
I'll contrast to the end of the Earth the differences between Bush policy and Clinton policy. Clinton policy was not governed by superior information than those of us critial of Clinton possessed. It was always driven by self-interest. Bush is one of us. A true American. A conservative Texan! If we can't see where he's going at a given time (and if for political exigencies he can't spell it out to our collective satisfaction), at least we can assume his ultimate aim is to run the nation well ... unless and until it becomes obvious his true colors prove to be otherwise. We're a long way from reasonably coming to that conclusion, though many would likely take issue with this assertion, particularly among Democrats.
I'm quite sure that, if he could, Bush WOULD satisfy all of us with his reasons for doing what we find so repugnant in connection with alien amnesty, CFR and an apparent softness towards the Palestinians. He can't evidently. I'm sure we couldn't were any of us in his shoes. Let's do what we can to and know will help preserve our precious Constitution, our culture and way of life. Let's not voice our dissatisfaction for our President until we're fully up to speed on why he went the way he did. There's ample time for that. The election's still more than two years away.
