In a statement released Monday, DC Park police stated that beloved first family dog "Buddy" was found dead in the middle of Pennsylvania Ave. Park police are calling this a suicide because the car that hit buddy was found parked, engine running, a few feet away. Police theorize that buddy stole the car from the White House motor-pool and took it the site of the suicide where he jumped out of the car window, ran ahead (he's a dog and he can do this) and then stood in its path.
