If I am not mistaken, the year 1900 is the last year of the 19th century.

I knew that would probably get a discussion started. My brother and I argued about it for a month at the time of 2K.

The 19th century ended after december 31, 1900....same with the 20th century, though the media basicly rewrote this with their 'millenium' stuff. it is worth noting on this that there is no year 'zero'...after 1 bc, you have 1 ad.
