Dude! What happened to FRee Republic? Where did the Breaking News section disappear to?

I don't know, but I think I can show you how to get it back. Click on "topics" up at the top of the page, scroll down until you see the "Breaking News" topic. Click on it. The click on "Subscribe to this topic" which you should see down in the left hand column. You can "subscribe" to any of the topics on the topic lists for the various forums and they will show up in your side bars.
