A patent was granted on March 26, 2002 for "The Motionless Magnetic Generator," MEG) US Patent 6,362,718, which is likely to become the first commercially available free energy device in history in about one year from now. The machine will provide free electricity from the vacuum, for the life of the device, which should be a very long life since it has no moving parts.

The notion that this machine can pull 10 kilowatts out of a vacuum is literally unbelievable to me, which is to say I simply do not believe it.

This is right up there with those scam artists who travel the Black Church circuit selling "Reparations" claim certificates for sixty bucks a pop.

He absolutley is. Not for what he did as a Senator, but as an astronaut.

Anyone who'd climb on top of a monster such as the Atlas is a hero in my book.

BTW, I've met the man. Was assigned as his photographer for a whole day with him and his wife as he toured the Kennedy Space Center. He even bought my lunch!

Don't know the whole story, but I've got friends and relatives that live in the Huntsville, AL. area and this has been talked about around there for a while.

Apparently a number of NASA people have been in to look at it and they say it works.

I tend to be very skeptical about this type of thing, but they say that MEG is NOT looking for investment money. A lot of people have tried to invest, but no go.

Course this could be the setup for the big sting.

Amazin' these "free energy" scams pop up once or twice a year and always seem to sucker a couple of million "investment" dollars out of suckers, no matter how many suckers before them have been cheated out of their life savings. Not enough physics taught in high school.

Don't know if you saw my post #53, but locals say they are turning down money. They say the company is already funded and is being kept private.

I first heard about this scalar waves/energy/zero point/free energy idea way back before the World Wide Web existed. Back then, you had to dial into "Bulletin boards" for information. The one I used to call into was the "keelynet". Lots of fantastic stuff (mostly it was horsedoody, but the guys who ran that site tried to be as scientific as possible).

I have kept up from time to time on the latest (www.keelynet.com - yep, they got www'ed). Consider me a skeptic though. I'll believe it when I see it.

Only one way to be sure . . . Call 'em up and tell 'em you've got a million dollars you'd like to give them and see what they say. But DON'T give 'em any money when they slobber all over you, okay? :-)
