UConn women are awesome..but they can be had, and the coming battle with Tennessee will take a lot out of them. Also, OU has an easier opponent in Indiana to orrow, and the Md/KU game will be a war..both coaches are terrified of losing....and it'll take a lot out of the winner, and if Kansas wins, well, they've got the memory of the shellacking OU gave them in the BIG 12 tournament final.....

And with all the depressing news from the MidEast..we can use a little diversion....

KU's time has come. We're going home with the win. Sorry. You can have the girls game though.

I've got KU and OU going to the finals with KU ending on top. Since I'm not an alum of either, I'd like to support you but my kid needs new shoes.

Ping!
The appearance of both the men's and women's team in Final Four competition
even merited a big article on the front page of the Sports section of the
Los Angeles Times today.

I'm praying that OU history doesn't repeat itself...otherwise an NCAA
investigation usually follows this sort of success.

Prediction:

OU women lose to UConn in the Finals by 24
OU men lose to Kansas in the Finals by 7

All in all, though, a heck of a year for the Big XII.

Thanks for the ping.

I hope OU takes both titles. Plus a national championship this season in football.

The Dallas Morning News undoubtedly has its invesigators out en masse even now.

Well, I will go out on a limb (a precarious one at that) and predict a dreadful upset for your Sooners courtesy of the Cinderella Hoosiers.

Really, who cares about the graduation rate? Degree or not, most of these "student athletes" can't put together a coherent sentence. And how about all those tough courses they had to take for their degree in travel and tourism or recreation? They ought to end this farce and just hand them the paper when they agree to play for the school, but then that would cut out some extra income for real students who write the athletes' papers for them.

GREAT time to be a Sooner! That game was awesome tonight and since our girls have already played CT earlier and lost, we may just have their number this time. Sherry Coale has done a tremendous job since going to OU from Norman High.

You should have seen Norman today -- there are little corner stands springing up everywhere selling Sooner flags, shirts, etc. I bought my son one with both teams on it. Sooner flags are everywhere!

If our men beat Indiana, Coach Stoops is cancelling spring football practice on Monday so his team can watch their fellow athletes.

It is really great to have such class acts for coaches who are recruiting not only good athletes but quality people. Kelvin Sampson said that he only recruits athletes that are the type that are going to call home to their Mother every day to talk to them. Sherry Coale said earlier on the post game that they called Kelvin Sampson's cell phone and told the men to win!

Boomer Sooner!

Give it a rest! The results are from the 1992 Freshman class and Kelvin and Sherry were not even our coaches then! Why don't you look further into how they figure the statistics -- like junior college players don't count when they graduate or when someone like Ryan Humphries transfers and graduates from somewhere else, it counts as not graduating in the statistics. We are a State University not a private school!

Well, now that Tennessee has been routed, would you care to revise and extend your remarks? ;-)

"Go out on a limb?" Go IU. I will be watching Hoosier Histeria take over the Sooners and then go on to win the championship! Our team rocks!
