Will not practice with the team, but will play Saturday.
Could be an emotional lift for the Hoosier Daddies against Oklahoma..

The Indiana guys better wear Hard Hats when they take the floor because Oklahoma is going to hammer them. They're gonna need a lot more than a sentimental uplifting moment.

Crazier things have happened....
That Coverdale was looking like Jimmy Chitwood from 'Hossiers' after Indiana hit 8 three pointers in a row in the last game.

We'll see how good they shoot 3's when they don't have a good look at the basket.

That's what Duke thought. Hope the Oklahoma players are thinking the same way.:)

I'm a KU fan, and they weren't calling fouls in the last game of the Big 12 Tournament.
If the refs don't swallow the whistle and call em like they have been so far, Indiana could make it close.

Kind of like UNLV in 1991 when a Duke pulled the upset in the Final 4.

I hope KU comes through against Maryland. I'd like the opportunity to see OU make it 2 out of 3 against KU this year!! :)

Kent State thought the same thing too! I love the underdog hurt team that nobody thinks ought to be there role.
When AJ Moye went up and blocked Boozer it was a window into the soul of the Hoosiers.

I am a Hoosier Daddy. If , Indiana plays like they have the last two games, I find it hard to believe they will go all the way. They have won their last two games, but I still wonder how. The statistics don't add up. They can't hit free throws and their turnovers have been terrible.

I believe this thread should more properly have been posted under one of the many "Why God likes Indiana best" catagories.

Oklahoma by 16, with or without Coverdale.

GO BIG XII! Home of the best teams with the best coaches.

Indiana should be there because they earned it; however, their chances of beating Oklahoma are slim at best.

That's what I love about the Final 4 -Coverdale can hit eight threes in a row, Indiana wins by 1 over OU and we are all scratching our heads saying 'how did that happen?'
I have plenty of first hand experience with the Jayhawks on this, and Kirk had much the same injury as Coverdale. They will put him on electrical stimulus 24/7 and the ankle will be tender but he will play. Hinrich had 20 points in 12 minutes on bum wheels.

We'll see about that. Any Duke fans out there?

The Indiana players have long arms and are able to clean the glass. That is where the game will be won. This IU team runs their offense very well, good movement, lots of screens. If it stays close(IU can clean their defensive boards), IU can pull it off.
I hope OU is underestimating IU like Duke did.

Coach Davis gave his $10,000 bonus for winning to a church in Indianapolis to start a youth program. God may not like Indiana best, but I think Coach Davis has his priorities straight.
