Crack open a text book about animals and you'll notice that it states that pigs tend to be very clean animals.
Pigs are incapable of sweating which means they can't release toxins as well as other animals(like cows for instance). I have no idea if pigs are 'shit-eaters' as that other guy asserted but so what if they are? Its already been through the body once, twice ain't going to make a difference to the meat.
